How few brave men rescued an injured Anaconda

Stories of men being rescued from Anaconda’s crutches are not unheard of, but men rescuing injured Anaconda are something not heard of. French wildlife photographers Denis and Marie Grenouillet were visiting Los Llanos in Columbia when they came across this incident. They heard a commotion outside their hotel lodge and came out to witness the spectacle of few brave men trying to rescue an injured Anaconda from the bushes. The giant serpent was tangled in a bush after being injured from wounds of fishermen trying to protect ship yard from the monster. The Anaconda is a native animal of South America and it feeds on cattle, jaguars, etc. They grow over 20 feet and weighs nearly 500 pounds. This monster was nearly 16 feet in height. It had bullet marks in its body. The men lifted the serpent from the swamps where it was hiding injured, and put it inside a sack and carried it off to a lagoon four miles off. All the way the men sprinkled water on the Anaconda’s body to keep it cool. After reaching the lagoon they guided it to swamp where it swam off to safety. The French photographers shot this incredible incident and made it available for the world to view.
