Cute Baby Sloths Learn To Climb

A GROUP of doe-eyed sloths learn to climb by scaling and then swinging from the back of a rocking chair. Shot in May, this adorable footage was filmed by zoologist and broadcaster Lucy Cooke during a visit to the Toucan Rescue Ranch in Costa Rica. The wildlife rehabilitation centre uses a rocking chair to help teach the orphaned baby sloths how to climb – as the swaying motion is similar to a tree. Moose Car Wash: Mother And Baby Deer Lick SUV Clean

A WILDLIFE photographer was treated to a free car wash by a salt loving moose and her calf. John Marriot, 46 was leading a photography workshop at Jasper National Park in Canada when he noticed the huge animal licking his car. Caught On Camera: Man Wrestles 10ft Alligator

A FEARLESS handler wrestles a 10ft alligator with his BARE HANDS. Jason McDonald wore a GoPro as he caught Bertha, the 500 lbs female gator at the Colorado Gator Farm in Colorado, USA. Jumping on top of the powerful animal and using his weight to hold her down, Jason, 34, even opened the giant reptiles’ mouth before an awe-struck crowd. A snake handler shares his small home with 60 of the world's most deadly reptiles. Albert Killian began removing snakes from his neighbour's yard when he was just ten and has loved the animals ever since. Amazingly the 60-year-old has been bitten more than 100 times but has built up a tolerance to their venom. He keeps and handles 28 Egyptian Cobras, three Indian Cobras, forest cobras, spotting cobras, rattle snakes and vipers. Jaguar vs Caiman: Big Cat Ambushes Reptile In Epic River Battle

A HUNGRY jaguar and a large caiman wrestle in a river for 20 minutes before the big cat finally prevails. Shot in October by Pantanal visitor John Medlock and wildlife guide, Leen Gillis, 33, the dramatic footage shows the ruthless predator pounce on the unsuspecting reptile while a group of tourists watch in amazement. Filmed in Black Little River in Porto Jofre, Northern Pantanal, the video also shows the jaguar struggling to lift its prey on to the riverbank. The adolescent male, who is new to the area, eventually dragged its prey into the nearby forest and stayed there for the next few days feasting. Source: Barcroft TV

Tiger Splash: Keepers Swim And Play With Fully Grown Big Cats



A POWERFUL tiger launches itself at its keeper - before the pair make an almighty splash into a swimming pool. Staff at the Out Of Africa wildlife park in Arizona allow themselves to be ‘hunted’ by the big cats as part of the ‘Tiger Splash’ show, which sees the animals interact with their keepers as they would with their prey. The adult Bengal and Siberian tigers have all of their teeth and claws. But despite the danger the bond between the humans and animals stop the brave keepers from being mauled to death. The deadly predators grow to nearly 400kg and 11 foot in length and many of the staff are scarred from playful bites and scratches.

New Cat Breeds: Meet the Hairless SphynxieBob And BamBob

CAT lover April Arguin is presenting two new cat breeds to the world for the first time - the SPHYNXIEBOB and the BAMBOB. The SphynxieBob is a Sphynx and Bobtail cat mix, and the BamBob is a cross between a Bambino cat and Bobtail cat. April, who runs Lil Nudists Cattery, has spent three years researching the breeds and is now trying to get them recognized by the Rare and Exotic Feline Registry. Source: Barcroft TV

Fighting Leopard Dramatically Falls From Tree

A PUSHY male leopard is brought down to earth after picking a fight up a tree. Filmed by Polish couple Andrzej and Aleksandra Dybala, this dramatic footage shows the bossy beast fall an estimated seven metres to the ground after attempting to knock a lady leopard off her perch. Shot on September 26, in Londolozi Game Reserve, South Africa, the large male predator scaled the tree to attack the smaller female he had been feuding with. Rex Specs: Protective Dog Goggles Are A Hit With Rescue Services

A PACK of sporty dogs wear goggles to shields their eyes from the blinding rays of the sun. Rex Specs is the latest technological advancement in canine eye protection and are now being used by the US military to protect their heroic hounds. The product has polycarbonate lenses which are shatter resistant and protect against harmful UV rays. The specs are the brainchild of dog lovers Aiden Doane, 31, and Jesse Emilo, 33, whose love of hiking in mountainous Jackson, Wyoming, resulted in both their pooches developing harmful eye conditions. Great White Shark Rushes Diver In Cage

A great white shark collides with a diving cage and tries to chomp through the steel bars. The dramatic footage was shot by videographer Oliver Bray from inside the cage in Gansbaai, South Africa, with just thick bars to protect him from the shark’s sharp teeth. The predators are drawn to the infamous Shark Alley because of the resident seal population. Oliver and his team used bait to entice the hungry beast towards their boat and the enormous fish bared its jaws to the camera. A TOURIST got some amazing holiday snaps - swimming just centimeters away from a CROCODILE. Austrian Franz Pramendorfer shot footage on his GoPro camera while vacationing in Cuba with his wife and two sons, Frank, 18 and Peter, 16. Battle To Save Elephant From Poacher's Poisoned Arrow

An ailing elephant who had been shot with a poacher's poisoned arrow was saved by a team of heroic vets in Kenya.On September 15th, medics from the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust and the Kenya Wildlife Service treated the bull quickly after it had been felled by an ivory poacher in Tsavo National Park.Once the deadly arrow was removed and the wound was cleaned, the team administered long acting antibiotics ensuring that the elephant made a full recovery. "Snap Happy" 8ft Alligator Latches Onto Wrangler's Hand

A FEROCIOUS eight foot alligator clamps its powerful jaws down on the hand of an experienced handler. This dramatic footage shows gator wrestler Jason McDonald fighting to free himself after a risky trick - which involved putting his hand in the animal's mouth - went horribly wrong. The 34-year-old was eventually released when friends and co-workers pried open the 150 pound beast's mouth with a piece of metal. A MASSIVE python devours a full size goat after sneaking into the village of Garkhuta in West Bengal, India. The astonishing feat of digestion was caught on camera near Sonakhali Reserve Forest by photographer Roni Choudhury. Snap Shot: Model Poses Underwater Inches From Deadly Crocodiles

A FEARLESS diver threw herself in the deep end when she came face-to-face with a group of crocodiles. Italian daredevil Roberta Mancino was completely unprotected when she swam just inches away from the huge reptiles' jaws. The thrill-seeker completed the daring dive near the Banco Chinchorro atoll in the Gulf of Mexico. The isolation of the enormous coral reef meant she was hours away from help if anything went wrong.
